Cynthia Weber
MD, FACS, FASMBS
Cynthia Weber, MD, FACS, FASMBS is a board-certified bariatric surgeon who primarily performs sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass, with additional expertise in advanced foregut surgery, including anti-reflux procedures for GERD, and in complex endoscopy. She completed her fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where she performed hundreds of bariatric operations including revisional procedures, following a general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center that included dedicated research years. She published extensively during that time and has presented her work nationally and internationally. Dr. Weber earned her medical degree through a selective combined program at Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Her focus is the long view: helping patients get healthier so they can spend their time on the people and goals that matter to them.
