Harvey Rainville, MD, FACS, FASMBS is one of the highest-volume robotic bariatric surgeons in New Jersey and has been a leader in robotic weight loss surgery since entering practice in 2013. He serves as Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at both Clara Maass Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center, and as Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at East Orange Hospital. He also instructs and proctors surgeons across the country in robotic technique and holds an academic staff position at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Board-certified in surgery, Dr. Rainville completed his general surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore and a fellowship in robotic and bariatric surgery at the University of Texas in Houston. He has been named a New Jersey Monthly and Castle Connolly Top Doctor three years running. His aim with every patient is the same: earn their trust and treat them like family.
