Vadim Gritsus
MD
Vadim Gritsus, MD is a board-certified surgeon and a recognized expert in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery, having performed more than 6,000 weight loss procedures over two decades in practice. He serves as Director of Bariatric Surgery at Atlantic Health System’s Chilton Medical Center. Dr. Gritsus received his medical degree from Pavlov Medical University in St. Petersburg and his surgical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Morristown Memorial Hospital, but he came to surgery by way of science, first researching cardiomyopathy and heart failure at Temple University and then working as a Senior Scientist at Johnson & Johnson on tissue repair and regeneration. That background shapes how he operates: a gentle, tissue-sparing technique aimed at less pain and a faster recovery.
